On the evening of April 15, due to the high altitude of the Yushu area in Qinghai Province, our province’s medical rescue personnel were unable to adapt well to the plateau climate. Following recommendations from relevant experts that Rhodiola rosea could effectively combat altitude sickness, the Provincial Health Department immediately contacted Qizheng. Even though the company’s employees had already finished work, they dispatched personnel and vehicles back to the Yuzhong production base. At 10 p.m. that same evening, they delivered 10 boxes of Xueyu Rhodiola Vitality Capsules, worth 98,500 yuan, to the Provincial Health Department. The next morning, these capsules were transported via the Provincial Red Cross Society to the disaster-stricken area of Yushu.
It is reported that following the tragic news of the Yushu earthquake in Qinghai, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Group, deeply concerned about the people in the Tibetan areas, promptly launched a variety of emergency measures to organize and carry out earthquake relief efforts. Starting from the afternoon of April 14, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has successively donated supplies worth over 400,000 yuan to the disaster-stricken area, including 100 tents, 300 quilts, 300 coats, first-aid medicines for trauma as well as medications commonly used and easily contracted in disaster zones, and cash. These supplies have been delivered one after another to the Yushu disaster zone. Meanwhile, the company dispatched a rescue team composed of nine graduates in Tibetan medicine who set off for the disaster area on the 15th to provide whatever medical assistance they could.
