Recently, the 29th Macao International Fair for Trade and Investment (MIF 2023) was held at the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo. As a key enterprise in Macao specializing in the commercialization of traditional Chinese medicine achievements, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine was invited to participate in the health-care exhibition area.
During the expo, Mr. Liu Kailie, Chairman of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, was invited to attend the ceremony marking the establishment of the “Macau Federation of Industry and Commerce Chinese Medicine and Greater Health Committee and the Macau Chinese Medicine and Greater Health Development Alliance” as one of the representatives from well-known Chinese medicine enterprises across mainland China’s provinces. The alliance ceremony was organized by the Macau Federation of Industry and Commerce, with the aim of fostering cooperation and exchange among relevant enterprises, establishing industry standards and norms, enhancing the quality and service levels of the Chinese medicine sector, and promoting the modernization and technological advancement of traditional Chinese medicine.

At the “Greater Bay Area Health Industry Forum: Macao’s Achievements in Traditional Chinese Medicine Registration, Transformation, and International Expansion,” Mr. Wan Mazheng, Director of Cultural Heritage at Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, delivered a presentation titled “The Inheritance of Tibetan Medicine and Its Transformation and Application in Macao,” highlighting the potential and vitality of traditional Tibetan medicine in the global market. The forum was organized by the Macao Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and the Greater Bay Area Health Industry Committee of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Joint Chamber of Commerce. The forum’s keynote speeches covered a range of hot topics, including TCM registration, product innovation, and international development.

Previously, on the day the first mainland China-Macao pharmaceutical services window—the dedicated counter for the Macao Pharmaceutical Services Cooperation Zone—was opened, Qizheng International Co., Ltd., as one of the first companies, submitted its drug registration documents to the Macao Drug Administration through this dedicated counter. At this exhibition, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s overseas business brought the company’s flagship products to the event, showcasing the charm of Tibetan medicine culture in a comprehensive manner.
It is reported that the exhibition is part of a series of events celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland. This year, the total exhibition area reaches 38,000 square meters, making it the largest-scale event in recent years. The exhibition features 10 thematic zones and attracts well-known enterprises from 16 countries and regions. It has drawn over 2,000 government officials, buyers, and professional visitors from around the world, including four representatives from Chinese ministerial-level departments, 40 ambassadors, consuls general, and consular representatives from Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as other representatives from government and trade promotion agencies.
