Recently, the 7th China E-Learning Forum & Exhibition (CEFE) was held in Beijing. During the conference, the “Bo’ao Awards” were presented to 49 winning projects. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Online Academy was honored with the “Bo’ao Award for Outstanding Online Knowledge Base Application.” Other companies that also received awards include Tencent, Baidu, China Mobile, and State Grid.
CEFE is an annual event in China where enterprises explore and research the latest learning technologies, learning models, and learning philosophies. It is organized by Online Education Information Network. To identify and recognize enterprises and teams that successfully apply new learning technologies and methodologies to their educational practices, Online Education Information Network initiates the annual “Bo’ao Awards Selection.” This initiative aims to disseminate best practices through the evaluation of submitted cases, programs, and course materials, and to leverage the power of role models to promote the healthy, rapid, and orderly development of the entire industry.
To provide each employee with abundant learning resources, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s online academy adheres to the principle of “drawing from the people and serving the people.” Through various approaches—including procuring external courses, developing and designing internal courses, and encouraging the upload and sharing of knowledge and experience—our academy continuously builds and refines the company’s course system, thereby accelerating the internal transfer of organizational knowledge and expertise. To systematically establish a training framework for the pharmaceutical business unit, we aim to build up the company’s reserves of knowledge, skills, and experience, and to facilitate the transformation of “niche expertise” into “widely applicable competencies.” In 2014, based on identified shortcomings in the company’s performance improvement efforts, the Human Resources Department organized 15 employees—those who had achieved benchmark results in both performance and management—to record 18 “Internal Practice Case” courses. These courses were then simultaneously rolled out across both the PC-based online academy and the mobile app, creating a platform and enabling flexible learning opportunities for frontline marketing staff. Once launched, these internal practice cases received unanimous acclaim from frontline marketing employees due to their relevance to business operations, strong grounding in practical realities, and high replicability. By the end of 2014, a total of 2,316 individual learning sessions had been completed by all sales personnel within the company.
Over the course of 20 years of development, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has established a multi-level, three-dimensional employee training platform. To address the conflict between work and learning, optimize learning resources, and enhance training efficiency, the company has created the Qizheng Online Academy, enabling everyone to make full use of their "fragmented" spare time for continuous learning and self-improvement. To solidify internal corporate knowledge, ensure that valuable insights are properly preserved, accumulated, and disseminated, the company promotes the sharing of internal best practices. In 2013, the company established its first group of internal trainers, who served as pioneers in the company’s instructor corps, driving employee growth. In 2014, the company launched a program for designing and training on internal best practice cases.
Over the past 20 years, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has continuously tapped into the potential of its employees through effective training and education, enhancing their capacity for lifelong learning and achieving a comprehensive improvement in their professional qualities, thereby continually expanding their career development opportunities. At the same time, this approach has also effectively promoted the company’s efficient, stable, and sustainable business growth. Looking ahead, the company will continue to build a learning-oriented organization, vigorously fostering organizational innovation, encouraging continuous self-learning, constantly motivating employees to improve their professional ethics and expertise, and ensuring that everyone—from top management to frontline staff—remains united in fulfilling our mission: serving the nation through industry and safeguarding spiritual values with practical enterprise.
