Q3 revenue for Qizheng Tibetan Medicine increased by 13.36% year-on-year, with faster growth in new products.

Qizheng Tibetan Medicine (002287) disclosed its third-quarter report on the evening of October 22. The company achieved operating revenue of 9,706.784 million yuan, an increase of 13.36% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 2,753.193 million yuan, up 12.03% from the same period last year.
It is understood that while the company’s core product, Qizheng Pain-Relieving Plaster, continues to maintain steady growth, the accelerated growth of new ointment products—led by “Baimai Ointment”—is providing strong support for the company’s overall performance. Baimai Ointment is the only externally applied ointment approved by the National Medical Products Administration for promoting the rehabilitation of limb functions. It demonstrates remarkable efficacy in treating conditions such as Baimai disease (neurological disorders), paralysis, hemiplegia, tendon contractures, and meridian and tendon injuries caused by trauma, as well as hand and foot spasms and lameness. This ointment possesses pharmacological effects including anti-inflammatory analgesia, improved microcirculation, promotion of bone metabolism, and neuroprotection.
According to available data, in 2019, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine stepped up its efforts to expand its new product portfolio, shifting from relying solely on the strength of individual products to building strengths across entire therapeutic areas. By developing the "Xiaotong" family of products, the company aims to become the leading brand offering integrated pain management solutions. While consolidating the leading position of its flagship product, Xiaotong Plaster, in the musculoskeletal system, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine is also cultivating new growth drivers—including products such as Bai Mai Ointment, Qing Peng Ointment, and Ruyi Zhenbao Tablets.
The “rising star” status of Bai Mai Ointment was by no means achieved overnight—it is the result of long-term accumulation and dedication. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has a long history of research into the theory of “Bai Mai Disease” and the “Bai Mai Therapy.” As early as 2005, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine began studying the efficacy and mechanism of action of Bai Mai Ointment in functional rehabilitation for stroke patients. Since then, the company has published a series of articles on the effects of Bai Mai Ointment on muscle tone in stroke patients and on its role in functional rehabilitation for fracture patients, along with numerous studies elucidating the mechanisms underlying Bai Mai Ointment’s effects on stroke, fractures, osteoarthritis, and other conditions. The company has also completed a series of multi-center, large-sample, randomized controlled clinical studies involving a total of over a thousand participants, thereby further refining and strengthening the evidence-based medical framework for Bai Mai Ointment.
