Recently, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange completed and announced the 2020 information disclosure assessment of listed companies. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine received an A-grade rating in the assessment. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the company has earned an A-grade evaluation from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for its information disclosure performance. In this round of assessment, a total of 2,350 listed companies in Shenzhen participated; among them, 417 companies—accounting for 17.74%—received an A-grade rating.
In 1995, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine established its presence in Linzhi, Tibet, and went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2009, becoming the first Tibetan medicine company listed in China. Over the past twelve years since its IPO, while remaining focused on its core business and sustaining steady, robust growth, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has promoted the implementation of long-term value investing at multiple levels, effectively safeguarding investors’ rights and interests. At the cultural level, the company has integrated the vision of “striving to become a leader in the field of distinctive traditional medicine—a long-lived enterprise cherished by employees, trusted by customers, respected by society, and beneficial to investors” into its core corporate culture, guiding its strategic and operational activities. At the institutional level, the company actively complies with regulatory requirements, continuously improves its standardized operating procedures, and safeguards investors’ rights and interests through comprehensive, timely, compliant, and transparent information disclosure. At the operational level, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has developed a sustainable development management system centered on patient care, technological innovation, employee development, cultural heritage preservation, and resource conservation. The company proactively assumes social responsibility and builds a competitive foundation rooted in long-term value creation.
The assessment of information disclosure is an important measure to urge listed companies, shareholders, and other entities with information disclosure obligations to disclose information truthfully, accurately, completely, promptly, and fairly, thereby promoting the enhancement of the quality of listed companies. In September 2020, in light of new developments in market conditions and the practical experience gained from information disclosure assessments, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange revised and released the “Assessment Measures for Information Disclosure Work of Listed Companies (Revised in 2020),” further optimizing and improving aspects such as the methods, content, and application of assessment results, and thereby enhancing the transparency and effectiveness of the assessment and evaluation mechanism.
