Qizheng Tibetan Medicine reported a profit of 300 million yuan in 2017 and plans to distribute a cash dividend of 4.1 yuan for every 10 shares held.

On the evening of April 19, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine (002287) released its 2017 annual report. In 2017, the company achieved operating revenue of 1.053 billion yuan, an increase of 8.76% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 300 million yuan, up 3.79% year-on-year; and basic earnings per share amounted to 0.741 yuan. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 4.1 yuan (including tax) for every 10 shares held.
The company’s core business focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of Tibetan medicines, including topical pain-relief medications and oral Tibetan formulations. Currently, its main products include a range of topical formulations centered around Xiao Tong Tie Gao (Pain-Relief Patch), Qing Peng Ointment, and Bai Mai Ointment, as well as oral Tibetan medicines such as Hong Hua Ru Yi Wan.
That evening, the company also released its first-quarter report for 2018. From January to March 2018, the company achieved operating revenue of 227.0096 million yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 17.08%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 77.0805 million yuan, up 11.21% year-on-year; basic earnings per share amounted to 0.1899 yuan. In the first-quarter report, the company also provided a forecast for its performance in the first half of the year. The company expects net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the period from January to June to range between 169.6491 million yuan and 220.5438 million yuan, representing a year-on-year growth rate of 0% to 30%. Regarding the reasons for the change in performance, the company stated that the primary factor was the continued and stable growth of operating revenue.
