On October 24, the "Top 20 Chinese Medicine Enterprises with the Greatest International Influence" list was unveiled at the opening ceremony of the "SCO Traditional Medicine Industry Conference and International Life & Health Industry Cooperation Meeting." Thanks to its 28 years of deep-rooted expertise in the field of Tibetan medicine, as well as its outstanding brand value and influence, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine made it onto the "Top 20 Chinese Medicine Enterprises with the Greatest International Influence" list, ranking 12th.
It is reported that this event is jointly organized by Tianjin Chinese Herbal Medicine Magazine, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, and the China National Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The initiative aims to promote traditional Chinese medicine, build national brands, set industry benchmarks, and serve as role models. It seeks to guide enterprises in the traditional Chinese medicine sector to carry forward the essence of their heritage, uphold integrity while fostering innovation, and step onto the global stage. Moreover, it is intended to enhance the industry, national, and cultural confidence of practitioners in TCM, and to facilitate the internationalization of the TCM industry.
Qizheng Tibetan Medicine is the leading enterprise in China’s Tibetan medicine industry. Rooted in a profound and time-honored traditional medical system, Tibetan medicine advocates “a balanced approach to prevention and treatment, and holistic care for both body and mind,” offering patients comprehensive solutions that address their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This unique approach sets it apart within the contemporary global medical system and provides therapeutic opportunities for many modern diseases. Currently, Tibetan medicine is gradually stepping beyond China’s borders and gaining international recognition; nearly 40 countries have adopted Tibetan medicine and Tibetan pharmaceuticals into their clinical practice, achieving remarkable results.
For many years, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has been actively exploring overseas business opportunities, focusing on the unique clinical value and differentiated therapeutic advantages of Tibetan medicine in the context of a global perspective—how these can contribute to disease treatment. Upholding the philosophy of “Eastern Wisdom, Shared Globally,” the people of Qizheng hope that, through our efforts, one day people of all skin colors and ethnicities will have the opportunity to benefit from the health-preserving wisdom of Tibetan medicine and will eagerly share in the extraordinary achievements of traditional medical culture.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the state has placed traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) work in an even more prominent position. Today, the reach of TCM has expanded to 196 countries and regions, and the number of people receiving TCM treatments worldwide has exceeded one-third of the global population. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the total value of China’s imports and exports of TCM products reached over 28 billion U.S. dollars cumulatively. The “14th Five-Year Plan for TCM Development” proposes deepening engagement along the Belt and Road Initiative, vigorously promoting TCM trade, encouraging overseas registration efforts, fostering TCM’s participation in international cooperation on COVID-19 prevention and control, and building high-quality national bases for TCM service exports.
As an important component of traditional Chinese medicine, Tibetan medicine will play an increasingly significant role in safeguarding human health in the future.
