Recently, the award ceremony for “Advanced Member Units in Self-Medication Education for 2022-2023,” hosted by the China Non-prescription Drug Association, was held in Wuzhen. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine was honored with the title of “Advanced Member Unit in Self-Medication Education for 2022-2023” in recognition of its contributions to enhancing public health literacy and self-medication capabilities.
Qizheng Tibetan Medicine is a pioneer in the modernization of the Tibetan medicine industry. Relying on the unique culture of Tibetan medicine, it provides the public with safe and effective Tibetan medicinal products. Over the years, the company has adhered to its corporate mission of “promoting health wisdom and creating value for life,” leveraging its professional strengths and focusing on products such as pain-relief patches. It has actively engaged in public welfare activities—including science education, free medical consultations, and medicine donations—in fields such as orthopedics, dermatology, and respiratory medicine—thus proactively disseminating essential knowledge about the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of related diseases, and enhancing the public’s ability to self-medicate and their overall health literacy.
In 2022, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s free medical consultations reached over 500,000 people; in 2023, the number of people benefiting from these consultations exceeded 600,000. In 2023, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, leveraging the Qizheng Charitable Foundation, launched the “Doing Good and Benefiting Others—Special Pain Relief Care Initiative.” Starting on October 16, 2023, Qizheng’s volunteer philanthropists conducted Tibetan medicine free consultations in Nima Township, Nagqu, Tibet, at an altitude of 4,950 meters, providing free distribution of 37 types of Tibetan medicines to nearly 500 people, primarily from the elderly population. The initiative continued in a relay fashion: 30 Qizheng volunteer teams, comprising 844 volunteers, traveled across 43 cities nationwide, carrying out caring activities such as free topical applications and medication rubs around communities, hospitals, and pharmacies. Over 14,000 patients benefited from this effort.
In its self-medication education efforts, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine emphasizes the integration of tradition and innovation. It carries forward the benevolent intentions and good deeds of the Qizheng Public Welfare Initiative from the plateau to inland regions, conducting public welfare activities that focus on caring for pain sufferers and expressing gratitude to users. Through promoting Tibetan medicine culture and popularizing knowledge about Tibetan medicines, Qizheng is driving the healthy development of the Tibetan medicine industry and making active contributions to the construction of a Healthy China.
