Recently, the first “Gansu Pride—Top Ten Economic Figures of Gansu 2014” were officially announced. Among them, ten entrepreneurs—including Ms. Lei Jufang, Chairwoman of the company—stood out from over a hundred outstanding entrepreneurial candidates from various industries across Gansu and were awarded the title of “Gansu Pride—Top Ten Economic Figures of Gansu 2014.”
The award received by Ms. Lei Jufang, Chairwoman of the Board, not only signifies that her many years of contributions to Gansu’s economic development have been positively recognized and acclaimed, but also highlights the numerous achievements our company has made under her leadership in areas such as social responsibility, corporate innovation, job creation, and public welfare and charitable endeavors. These accomplishments are the finest embodiment of Qizheng people’s commitment to the core corporate values of “doing good for others and pursuing righteous business practices.”
It is reported that this event was initiated by the Gansu Provincial Radio, Film, and Television General Station (Group) and jointly organized by the Gansu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce, the Gansu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and other relevant organizations. The purpose of this event is to bring Gansu’s economic figures into the public spotlight, fully showcasing the outstanding achievements of Gansu’s leading enterprises and economic builders, and vigorously promoting the spirit of Gansu’s economic pioneers— their relentless drive, courage to take on challenges, and willingness to blaze new trails. By enabling society to learn about their entrepreneurial journeys, listen to their inspiring stories, and feel their resilience and strength, we aim to uphold their positive, forward-looking, and enterprising mindset, using the power of role models to boost Gansu’s economic development.
The theme of this event is “Wisdom and Action in Transformation and Upgrading.” The event breaks away from the traditional, single-dimensional evaluation criteria for business leaders—based solely on performance—and incorporates as integral components of its multi-faceted assessment criteria the company’s contributions to its industry, its social responsibilities, corporate innovation, job creation, and philanthropic and charitable endeavors. From the initial nomination and recommendation phase through selection into the top 100, then the top 50, and finally the top 20, ten outstanding individuals were chosen from among the top 20 as the “Pride of Gansu”—the Top Ten Economic Figures of Gansu for 2014.
