Recently, the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region issued a document deciding to commend three enterprises and institutions that have been awarded the China Well-Known Trademark title and 21 enterprises and institutions that have been awarded the Regional Famous Trademark title. Our company received a reward of 500,000 yuan from the Tibet Autonomous Region government for holding the “Qizheng & Design” China Well-Known Trademark for pharmaceutical products (human use) in Class 5.
According to a relevant official from the Administration for Industry and Commerce of the Tibet Autonomous Region, after more than a decade of development, the region now boasts a total of 66 well-known trademarks at the autonomous region level and 11 China Famous Trademarks, with the total number of registered trademarks exceeding 3,800. These renowned trademarks serve as virtual business cards for the city, vividly showcasing Tibet’s unique characteristics. To encourage more enterprises to pursue brand development, at the end of last year, the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region issued guidelines on vigorously implementing a trademark strategy, offering one-time rewards of 500,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan respectively to trademark owners who have obtained China Famous Trademarks and autonomous region-level well-known trademarks.
Over the past two decades, our company has remained steadfastly focused on the research, development, innovation, manufacturing, and sales of traditional Tibetan medicines. At the same time, we are actively expanding into new therapeutic areas such as dermatology, neurology, and gynecology. Currently, we hold a portfolio of 74 approved drug registration numbers. Our flagship products include Qizheng Xiaotong Paste, Qingpeng Ointment, Baimai Ointment, Honghua Ruyi Pills, as well as high-quality Tibetan formulations such as Renqing Mangjue Capsules, Twenty-Five-Flavor Pearl Pills, Twenty-Five-Flavor Ghost Root Pills, Influenza Pills, Lung-Clearing and Cough-Relieving Pills, Eighteen-Flavor Terminalia Fruit Diuretic Pills, and Baijie Pills. In 2013, our company achieved total sales revenue of 969 million yuan, with core pharmaceutical product revenue accounting for 700 million yuan. Our flagship product, Xiaotong Paste, continued to enjoy strong sales, with a growth rate reaching 21%. Meanwhile, we made significant breakthroughs in market access, gaining inclusion in the "2012 National Essential Medicines List." Baimai Ointment and Honghua Ruyi Pills have garnered considerable attention in the hospital market; both products have maintained a compound annual growth rate of over 50% for three consecutive years. Moreover, sales revenue from our new products exceeded 100 million yuan for the first time, and these products have been added to the supplementary essential medicine lists in four regions: Guangdong, Chongqing, Gansu, and Qinghai.
Under the favorable atmosphere in which the whole society pays attention to, cherishes, and develops trademark brands, the company will continue to play a proactive and leading role in advancing the autonomous region’s trademark strategy, thereby enhancing the development level and market competitiveness of the modern Tibetan medicine industry and guiding this ancient industry toward industrialization, modernization, and internationalization.
