Tibet Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Co., Ltd, established in 1995, has steadily expanded its scale over the past 20 years through meticulous management, and its business revenue has increased year by year.
“Operating revenue and tax payments are directly proportional. Since its establishment, the company has cumulatively paid taxes totaling 1.262 billion yuan, including 181 million yuan in 2015,” the head of the company’s finance department told reporters.
“The process of building a brand is also a process of accumulating integrity,” the company’s head told reporters. “Integrity is the foundation upon which we expand our market. From product management to brand management and then to integrity-driven management, this represents the inevitable result of our company’s continuous elevation in business standards.”
Over the past 20 years, the company’s self-operated business has grown steadily. After its pain-relief plaster was included in the National Essential Medicines List, the company established a nationwide essential medicines project team specifically to implement Phases I, II, and III of the "Xinghuo Plan," thereby adding more than 11,000 new outlets—community health centers and township health clinics—across the country and driving rapid growth in sales of essential medicines. Meanwhile, the company’s investment-attracting products have also been added to the supplementary lists of essential medicines in Guangdong, Chongqing, Gansu, and Qinghai provinces.
In terms of market strategy, we are focusing on the fields of orthopedics and musculoskeletal pain. By adopting a new development approach for pain-relief patches—targeting core indications, expanding into additional indications, and exploring novel applications—we have achieved a leading position in China’s topical pain-relief market. We are also actively expanding into new therapeutic areas such as dermatology, neurology, and gynecology, with a strong focus on Tibetan medicine to consolidate our position as the market leader in this segment.
In terms of management, we will refine the sales management system, further enhance marketing execution capabilities and resource utilization efficiency; optimize functional structures to accelerate market responsiveness, reallocate resources accordingly, and promote the restructuring and optimization of business processes, ensuring the effective implementation of academic and cultural marketing initiatives. We will also strengthen collaboration among R&D, production, and sales, fostering robust supplier partnerships across the supply chain and delivering highly efficient services to specialized industry clients.
The company’s reputation has steadily improved along with its growth. For the past 20 years, “honest tax compliance” has been the guiding principle behind the company’s development, and there has never been any instance of underreporting, late reporting, or failure to report taxes. For many years, the company has been recognized by the National Tax Bureau of Linzhi City as a “Tax-Compliant Unit,” and in 2015, it became the only enterprise in Linzhi City to achieve an A-level rating for tax credit.
Honest tax compliance stems, on the one hand, from the enterprises themselves, and on the other hand, from the tax authorities’ creative efforts, practical measures, and tangible results in tax services. Since its establishment in 1996, the directly affiliated tax branch of the State Taxation Bureau of Linzhi City has adopted a multi-pronged approach to continuously improve tax service methods and constantly innovate service concepts. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Co., Ltd. has received multifaceted and long-term guidance and assistance from the directly affiliated bureau in its business operations.
“They’re also making full use of the advantages of our internal website by setting up an online learning platform and posting relevant training materials online for us taxpayers to study and refer to,” said the company’s head. The new policies and systems are updated promptly and shared with everyone via platforms such as WeChat, QQ groups, and the tax authority’s internal network, enabling zero-distance communication with taxpayers and ensuring seamless, anytime, anywhere interaction. “This allows us taxpayers to grasp the latest policies and systems—as well as various practical tax-related knowledge—right when they’re released.”
After being rated as a Tax Credit Grade A, the company’s momentum for development has become even stronger. The official told reporters, “This rating reflects the company’s ability to fulfill its contractual obligations, its reputation in bidding, its overall strength, and its competitiveness. It plays a significant role in enhancing the company’s image and serves as a concrete demonstration of upholding business ethics.”
