On October 22, the Lanzhou Food and Drug Administration conducted a follow-up inspection of the production and quality management practices at Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s Lanzhou Manufacturing Center for plaster products, rubber plasters, ointments, and traditional Chinese medicine granules, and ultimately passed the inspection smoothly.
The inspection team conducted a thorough and meticulous review of Ganzang Pharmaceutical’s production management, quality management, facility and equipment management, systems and procedures, personnel training, and sales—using both on-site inspections and document reviews—in accordance with the “Drug GMP Certification Inspection and Assessment Standards.” The team examined each aspect—people, machinery, materials, methods, and environment—item by item, and also rechecked the corrective actions taken to address the deficiencies identified during the previous certification inspection.
After the inspection, the inspection team fully affirmed the implementation of GMP at Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s Lanzhou Manufacturing Center and offered numerous valuable comments and suggestions. In response to these insightful recommendations, Qizheng will further refine its production and quality management practices, continuously enhance its level of production quality management, and comprehensively ensure the safety and efficacy of its pharmaceutical products. Following a day-long inspection, the expert panel unanimously concluded that all aspects of production and quality management at Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s Lanzhou Manufacturing Center meet the requirements of GMP standards, and the center successfully passed the GMP follow-up inspection.
