According to a report by the China Securities Journal, on the evening of April 24, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Co., Ltd. released its 2024 annual report, reporting operating revenue of 2.338 billion yuan, an increase of 14.32% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 582 million yuan, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company excluding non-recurring gains and losses amounted to 426 million yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 15.09%.

As a leading enterprise in the modernization of Tibetan medicine, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine takes the modernization of Tibetan medicine as its strategic guiding principle and is vigorously promoting R&D innovation. According to the report, the company’s R&D investment in 2024 reached 104.7 million yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.35% compared to 2023. The number of R&D personnel stood at 318, up 8.16% from the previous year. As of the end of the reporting period, the company held 156 patented technologies, including 129 invention patents.

The company places great emphasis on high-quality, evidence-based medical research in Tibetan medicine. In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of Chinese and Western medicine experts from departments including orthopedics, respiratory medicine, rehabilitation, and endocrinology, as well as national key specialized research teams, the company is continuously strengthening the evidence base for its core products, such as Xiao Tong Tie Gao (Pain-Relieving Plaster), Bai Mai Ointment, Qing Peng Ointment, and Ruyi Zhenbao Tablets. In 2024, the company’s products Qing Peng Ointment, Bai Mai Ointment, and Hong Hua Ruyi Pills were included in several authoritative consensus statements and guidelines. The clinical trial on Ten-Flavor Gentian Flower for acute and chronic bronchitis has been completed, and an application for protection of this traditional Chinese medicine variety has been submitted. Furthermore, real-world studies on Ruyi Zhenbao Tablets have confirmed their efficacy and safety.

In the field of new drug research, Bai Mai Ointment has received the "Approval Notice for Clinical Trials of Drugs," making it the first traditional Chinese medicine product to be exempted from Phase II clinical trials and proceed directly to Phase III clinical trials. Leveraging the geographical advantages of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, we have initiated the registration application for Cuitang Granules—a drug with the same name and formulation as its counterpart in Macao—and have obtained the formal review notice from the Drug Administration Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region. Meanwhile, the domestic registration of Cuitang Granules is undergoing commercial re-verification. The Phase II clinical trial of the Class 1.1 innovative drug Zhengru Tie has been completed, and we have applied to hold a communication and exchange meeting. The pediatric formula “Re Li Qing” Granules have received a written response from the CDE, and we will soon submit an application for clinical trials.
