Recently, Lanzhou City held its first-ever briefing on the “Red and Black List” of business integrity. The Lanzhou Food and Drug Administration, the Municipal Agricultural Commission, the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, the Municipal State Taxation Bureau, and the Municipal Local Taxation Bureau jointly released a list of companies featured on the “Red and Black List” of business integrity. Among the 115 Class-A tax credit enterprises announced by the Lanzhou Municipal State Taxation Bureau and the Municipal Local Taxation Bureau, our subsidiary, Gansu Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Co., Ltd., was listed.
Promoting the institutionalization of integrity-building is a key task assigned and deployed by the Central Commission for Spiritual Civilization this year, and it also constitutes a major component of efforts to create national civilized cities. It is reported that after the initial announcement, Lanzhou City will establish a “red-and-black list” publication system, making the publication activities more institutionalized and routine. Through media channels such as newspapers, radio, television, and the internet, the city will publish lists of trustworthy enterprises (the “red list”) and lists of untrustworthy enterprises (the “black list”), along with details of disciplinary measures imposed on untrustworthy enterprises and individuals, thereby raising public awareness and attention to integrity-building across society.
Throughout our long-term business operations, our company has consistently focused on building five key integrity systems: product integrity, transaction integrity, service integrity, social responsibility integrity, and investor integrity. By continuously providing high-quality products and services to society, by engaging in fair value exchanges in the marketplace, and by fulfilling our social responsibilities—including paying taxes and contributing to public welfare—we have established a positive, mutually trusting, and supportive ecosystem with all our stakeholders. In 2013, the company’s total assets amounted to 1.5 billion yuan, and its equity reached 1.4 billion yuan. The company achieved total operating revenue of 969 million yuan and total profits of 258 million yuan, with tax payments in the Tibet region exceeding 200 million yuan for the first time.
In the future, the company will continue to uphold its core values of “pursuing integrity and righteous business practices, striving for goodness and benefiting others,” and will further implement the construction of five key integrity systems within the organization. We will establish communication channels and networks of mutual trust and support with our customers, safeguarding the interests of long-term cooperation and providing consumers with Tibetan medicines and health products that deliver unique efficacy and genuine value. Moreover, we will ensure investors’ returns through a standardized and transparent distribution system, actively fulfill our corporate social responsibilities, and focus on protecting natural resources and the environment, making practical contributions to local communities, and relentlessly pursuing the company’s long-term, sustainable development.
