New! Twelve pharmaceutical companies, including Qizheng, have been included in the Hurun Brand List. 2015-09-17 The “2015 Hurun Brand List” has been released, featuring 12 pharmaceutical companies. On September 17, the Hurun Research Institute unveiled the “2015 Hurun Brand List,” which includes a total of 200 of the most valuable brand trademarks—comprising the “2015 Hurun Research Institute’s Most Valuable Chinese Brands” and the “2015 Hurun Research Institute’s Most Valuable Private Brands.” Among these brands, 101 are non-state-owned and 99 are state-owned. This marks the tenth year that the Hurun Research Institute has published the Hurun Brand List. According to the report, among the 200 brands listed, the value of 170 brands increased compared to last year, with the total brand value rising by 36% from the previous year to reach 4,312.8 billion yuan. Notably, the combined value of the top 10 brands accounts for 46% of the entire list. Among the top 10 industries with the largest number of brands on the list, the household appliance industry saw the highest average increase in brand value, up 74%; followed by e-commerce and retail, up 69%; pharmaceuticals and health products, up 32%; finance, up 18%; alcoholic beverages, up 17%; real estate, up 15%; food and beverage, up 11%; and information services, tobacco, and apparel & home textiles, each up 10%. In the pharmaceutical sector, a total of 19 companies made the list (with some overlaps). Of these, 12 were included in the “2015 Hurun Research Institute’s Most Valuable Chinese Brands,” namely Yunnan Baiyao, Tongrentang, Tanxin Biotech, Dong’e Ejiao, Sanjiu, Tian Shi, Jiuzhou Tong, Pianzaihuang, Lizhu, Xiuzheng, Renhe, and Qizheng. Renhe and Qizheng are new entrants to the brand list this year. Meanwhile, seven companies—including Tanxin Biotech, Tian Shi, Jiuzhou Tong, Lizhu, Xiuzheng, Renhe, and Qizheng—were selected for the “2015 Hurun Research Institute’s Most Valuable Private Brands.”
