Recently, Tibet Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Marketing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the joint-stock company, was awarded the honorary title of “Tax Credit Grade A Enterprise for 2012-2013” by the State Taxation Bureau of Lhasa City, Tibet. At the same time, it also received the honorary title of “Advanced Taxpayer for 2013” from the Management Committee of the Liwu New Area in Tibet.
Throughout its years of development, the joint-stock company has consistently upheld the principle of “paying taxes in accordance with the law and with integrity,” fully integrating this principle into the daily operations and management of all its subsidiaries. In compliance with the provisions of the Tax Collection and Administration Law and the Accounting Law, the company has started by improving its internal management practices, strictly fulfilling its legal tax obligations, properly balancing operating funds with tax payments, and making timely and full payments of all taxes due, thereby fostering harmonious relationships between the company and the tax authorities. In 2013, the joint-stock company paid 202 million yuan in taxes in the Tibet region, marking the first time its tax payments exceeded 200 million yuan. To date, the company’s cumulative tax payments in Tibet have approached 1 billion yuan.
In recent years, the joint-stock company has successively been awarded such honorary titles as “AAA Credit Enterprise” in the Chinese traditional Chinese medicine industry, one of the Top 100 Taxpayers among China’s private enterprises, an enterprise with AAA credit rating, an advanced member enterprise recognized for “Emphasizing Quality and Upholding Credibility,” and a Class A taxpayer unit with the best credit standing. Looking ahead, the company will cherish these honors, keep up the good work, continuously strengthen its internal management, adhere to scientific and sustainable development, constantly enhance the quality and efficiency of its growth, implement the business philosophy of tax compliance and integrity, pay taxes strictly in accordance with the law and regulations, actively support and cooperate with the tax authorities in their tax collection and administration efforts, and continue making new contributions to the economic and social development of Tibet.
