1996
The “Qizheng Pain-Relieving Plaster” has been launched. Utilizing an exclusive patented technology and wet-application patch technology, this product preserves the active ingredients of natural medicinal herbs, bringing the classic Tibetan medicinal formulas conveniently and safely to mainland China. It has been hailed by authoritative experts as “a revolution in the history of topical plasters.”

1997
Qizheng Pain-Relieving Plaster has been listed as a “National Level II Protected Chinese Medicinal Product.”
1998
The Qizheng Pain Relief Patch won the Gold Award at the 26th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions and New Technologies, marking a breakthrough from zero in Tibet’s history of scientific and technological achievements. In the same year, the entire product series also received the Gold Award at the World Chinese Invention Expo.

2000
Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s Gannan Foge Pharmaceutical Factory was the first among Tibetan medicine enterprises nationwide to obtain GMP certification. In the same year, construction began on the GMP project at its production base in Linzhi, Tibet.


2001
The development and industrial-scale production of Qizheng Xiaotong Paste, an innovative traditional Tibetan medicine for external use, have been awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, once again filling a gap in the history of science and technology in Tibet.

The new Tibetan medicine, Twenty-Five-Flavor Lapis Lazuli Pill by Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, has been awarded the National Key New Product Certificate.
2002
In the inaugural “New Century Female Inventor” selection event, Lei Jufang, Chairwoman of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, was jointly awarded the title of “Outstanding Female Inventor” by the All-China Women’s Federation, the National Intellectual Property Administration, and the China Invention Association.
2004
Adopting a mechatronic design that is the first of its kind in China, we have begun independently developing and innovating automated, continuous patch-manufacturing technology for Qizheng Pain-Relieving Plasters.


2005
The China Association for Science and Technology has awarded Chairwoman Lei Jufang the title of “National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker,” recognizing Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s efforts in technological innovation within the industry.
The “New Tibetan Medicine High-Tech Industrialization Demonstration Project” of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has successfully passed acceptance testing.
Chairwoman Lei Jufang has been awarded the inaugural “Inventor Entrepreneur Award” by the China Invention Association.
2006
As the only Tibetan medicine enterprise, Qizheng has been selected as one of the 103 companies in the first batch of “National Innovative Pilot Enterprises.”
Due to its industrial innovation capabilities, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has been jointly recognized by five national ministries and commissions as a National-level Enterprise Technology Center.

Qizheng Pain-Relieving Plaster has been awarded the National Confidentiality Certificate.

2007
The “Transdermal Absorption Series Tibetan Medicine Production High-Tech Industrialization Demonstration Project” and the “Modernized Tibetan Medicine Production High-Tech Industrialization Demonstration Project” of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine have been awarded the title of “National High-Tech Industrialization Demonstration Project” by the National Development and Reform Commission.

2008
The key project of the 11th Five-Year National Science and Technology Support Program—“Research and Demonstration on Key Technologies for the Modernization of Tibetan Medicine”—is jointly undertaken and implemented by Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, the Plateau Biology Research Institute of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Food and Drug Inspection Institute of the Tibet Autonomous Region, and the Tibetan Medicine Research Institute of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
Included among the first batch of innovative enterprises in the country.
The Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions jointly released the first list of 91 “Innovative Enterprises” and presented them with plaques. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine was among the nine pharmaceutical companies selected for this honor. As the only ethnic medicine enterprise to undergo a two-year pilot program, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine successfully passed the national assessment and became the first company in the five northwestern provinces to be recognized in the pharmaceutical sector.

2009
The national-level enterprise technology center of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has broken ground in the Liuwu New Area of Lhasa.
Having been honored as a National Advanced Unit for Learning, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s Bianba Ciren was awarded the title of “National Outstanding Knowledge-Based Employee” in the 2008 national campaign—organized jointly by eight departments including the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Science and Technology—entitled “Building Learning Organizations and Striving to Become Knowledge-Based Employees.” Additionally, the Qizheng Tibetan Medicine Pain-Relieving Plaster Core and Medicinal Patch Team was recognized as a “National Advanced Learning Team” and received commendation in Beijing.

The “Industrialization of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s Pain-Relieving Plaster” project has been awarded the “2009 China National Federation of Industry and Commerce Science and Technology Progress Award.”

Selected for the “National Calling Card” 100 Brands List by the China Brand Research Institute, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has joined forces with six other pharmaceutical companies on the list released by the China Brand Research Institute. This assessment is hailed as the “military parade” of the business world, recognizing 100 enterprises or brands that represent China’s national image and are thus dubbed “National Calling Cards.”
Qizheng Tibetan Medicine has officially been listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, entering the Chinese A-share market. The company issued 41 million shares to the public, raising RMB 480 million in funds. On the day of its listing, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine opened at RMB 22, with an opening-day increase of 86.28%. It closed at RMB 24.21, representing a full-day increase of 105%.
The National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory has been established in two locations simultaneously and has been awarded by the National Development and Reform Commission with two plaques: “National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Solid Dosage Forms of Tibetan Medicine” and “National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Topical Preparations of Tibetan Medicine.”
2010
The Tibet Yutuo Tibetan Medicine Group, initiated by Qizheng Tibetan Medicine and jointly established with the participation of the Tibet Autonomous Region Investment Co., Ltd., the Tibet Autonomous Region Tibetan Medicine Factory, the Tibet Tibetan Medicine Group Co., Ltd., and the Tibet Autonomous Region State-owned Assets Management Company, was officially registered and established in Lhasa. Qizheng Tibetan Medicine holds an 80% stake in the company.

Included in the “Top 100 Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine Brands” list.
At the 2010 International Science and Technology Expo for Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 2010 Chengdu Summit of Chinese Herbal Medicine Brand Leaders, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine was listed among the “Top 10 Growing Chinese Herbal Medicine Brands” and the “Top 100 Chinese Herbal Medicine Industry Brands.”
2011
The key national project of the 11th Five-Year Plan has successfully passed its acceptance inspection. Entrusted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Science and Technology Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region organized national-level experts to conduct the acceptance review of the “Research on Key Technologies for the Modernization of Tibetan Medicine.” The two sub-projects undertaken by Qizheng Tibetan Medicine (project numbers: 2007BAI31B04 and 2007BAI31B05) have both smoothly passed the acceptance inspection.
