Recently, our company’s board of directors was recognized by a professional evaluation body in the capital market for its outstanding work in corporate value investment and brand building during the 2015 fiscal year. At the “2016 China Cross-border Investment & M&A Capital Forum and the 10th China Listed Companies Value Selection Awards Ceremony,” jointly organized by Securities Times and New Fortune Magazine, Ms. Feng Ping, Vice President and Board Secretary of our company, was awarded the title of “Outstanding Board Secretary of China’s SME Board Listed Companies.”
During her six-year tenure as the company’s secretary of the board, Ms. Feng Ping has maintained the company’s market capitalization stability through timely and effective communication with investors; safeguarded the company’s compliant operations by providing professional advice on major matters; efficiently facilitated the functioning of the board of directors by establishing various mechanisms such as reporting and meeting protocols; enhanced the company’s management standards and governance level by strengthening training for directors, supervisors, and senior executives; and significantly boosted the company’s brand value and promoted Tibetan medicine culture through highly effective media management. She has also actively encouraged the company to fulfill its corporate social responsibility, participated in international dialogues and exchanges, and, while building the company into a long-term value-investing brand, has taken it upon herself to promote social responsibility practices among small and medium-sized enterprises—sharing responsibilities, fostering collaborative innovation, and inspiring more SMEs to embrace sustainable development. She was awarded the New Fortune Gold Medal for Best Board Secretary.
It is reported that the expert review panel for the “10th China Listed Companies Value Selection” comprises more than ten research institute directors and investment directors from exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzhen, Huatai Securities, Haitong Securities, Xiangcai Securities, Guoxin Securities, Northeast Securities, China Merchants Securities, Penghua Fund, and other institutions. After final review by the exchanges, the definitive list of winners for this year’s value selection has been determined.
Over the past decade, the Securities Times has helped outstanding listed companies grow and thrive by uncovering and nurturing their potential, thereby strengthening the foundation for the development of China’s capital market. At a critical juncture when China’s capital market is undergoing a fundamental reconstruction of value and regaining investor confidence, the Securities Times aims to enhance the governance and integrity standards of listed companies, standardize their information disclosure practices, and promote the philosophy of rational value investing. At the same time, we hope that through these value assessments, we can inspire greater enthusiasm and creativity among Chinese enterprises and entrepreneurs, drive the transformation and upgrading of enterprise industries—especially those represented by listed companies—and enable them to become a key force behind “supply-side reform.” This will in turn boost the multi-tiered development of China’s capital market and allow it to play a leading and exemplary role under the new normal.
