Received the “2017 China Pharmaceutical Industry Outstanding Contribution Award”

Recently, Ms. Lei Jufang, Chairwoman of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, was awarded the “2017 China Pharmaceutical Industry Outstanding Contribution Figure” prize at the “Rongyao 2017 Sina Healthcare Annual Awards.”
It is reported that this selection was jointly initiated by Sina Medicine, together with Arterial Network, Xinkangjie, Health Circle, CyboBlue, Huoshi Creation, Yaodu Bio360, Siqi Circle, Pharmacy Manager, E-Pharmacy Manager, Chuangjianhui, and Drug Briefing—more than ten industry media outlets and data agencies. Over 50 experts were specially invited to provide comprehensive scoring, and the initiative accumulated over 100,000 valid votes from both online and offline participants. Conducted from an authoritative, fair, and objective perspective, the selection process lasted two months and culminated in the final ranking list. The list features four categories of awards and comprises ten sub-lists, covering major sectors including pharmaceutical manufacturing, commerce, retail, smart healthcare, e-commerce, medical devices, and investment & financing. It comprehensively presents the latest landscape and structure of China’s pharmaceutical industry for the year 2017.
In 2009, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine was listed on the SME Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. As a leading Tibetan medicine enterprise in China, the company boasts 55 Tibetan medicine product names and 72 approved drug registration numbers, with 12 exclusive varieties or exclusive dosage forms—such as Xiaotong Paste and Baimai Ointment—at its core. These products encompass both topical and oral Tibetan medicines, covering multiple specialized therapeutic areas in Tibetan medicine including orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, and gastroenterology. In 2016, Qizheng Tibetan Medicine had total assets of 2.092 billion yuan, achieved sales revenue of 968 million yuan, and recorded a net profit of 288 million yuan. The company paid a total of 226 million yuan in taxes, of which 206 million yuan was paid in Tibet. It employs 2,064 people.
As a leading figure in the ethnic medicine industry, Ms. Lei Jufang, Chairwoman of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, is deeply committed to the sustainable development of the ethnic medicine sector and actively promotes solutions to industry challenges. In 2017, as one of the corporate representatives, Ms. Lei Jufang participated in the roundtable conference titled “The Role and Contribution of Enterprises in Achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,” co-organized by the China Network of the Global Compact and the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in China, where she delivered a keynote speech. In her address, she shared Qizheng Tibetan Medicine’s unique insights and experiences in sustainable development and explored how enterprises can further enhance their role in realizing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As a deputy to the Tenth National People’s Congress and a member of the Eleventh and Twelfth National Committees of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Ms. Lei Jufang submitted around a hundred proposals and suggestions during her tenure, offering valuable advice for industrial development and contributing to the advancement of public health. Her efforts have received extensive media attention and coverage.
