On April 1, the public lecture event “For a Better Planet,” hosted by NetEase News and NetEase Finance, was held in Beijing. Ban Ki-moon, the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, attended as the host at the roundtable session for Chinese entrepreneurs, where he engaged in an in-depth discussion with invited Chinese business leaders on topics including healthcare, education, climate change, and the role of enterprises in promoting sustainable social development.
Lei Jufang, Chairperson of Qizheng Tibetan Medicine, stated that in 2018, a certain system within Tibetan medicine was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage. Today, within the broader context of China’s “great health” initiative, this system can play a very significant role—especially for the elderly population, who are often discussed in this context.
